Care instructions
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills immediately with a barely damp cloth and dry at once. Avoid abrasive cleaners, silicone polishes and alcohol. Re-oil the surface once or twice a year with a food-safe hardwax oil to keep the grain rich and protected. Use coasters and trivets — extreme heat can mark any natural finish.
Wood characteristics
Every piece is cut from a single slab, so no two are identical. Knots, mineral streaks, colour shifts and small natural fissures are inherent to solid hardwood — they are the record of how the tree grew, not defects. Timber moves gently with humidity; slight seasonal movement is normal. Colour deepens with age and light exposure.
Shipping information
Each piece is crated and shipped by freight. Delivery is curbside; a second person is recommended for moving the piece indoors. You will be contacted to schedule delivery once your piece leaves the workshop. Please inspect the crate on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
